How Arm Link works

A two-minute tour of the forum.

Getting started

Join free. Sign in with Discord or Google, or create an account with your e-mail. E-mail accounts need one click on a confirmation link before you can post.

Say hello. Post in the Introductions board: where you pull, which arm, your weight class.

Your first posts are reviewed. A moderator checks your first two posts, usually within a day. After that you post straight away.

Posting

Boards. Pick the board that fits: training, gear, match videos, events, rules, buy and sell, and more.

Type. Mark a thread as a question, match video, event, partner request or for-sale post so people can find it.

Video and pictures. Paste a YouTube or Facebook video link and it plays right in the thread (Facebook videos must be public). You can add one picture (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 6 MB).

Mentions. Type @ and a username to notify someone.

Hype, ranks and badges

Hype is how you say a post is good. Hype you receive builds your forum badge (Newcomer, Contender, Grinder, Veteran, Pillar). It only shows how much you take part on this forum. Your arm wrestling level comes from your AERS profile.

Badges are given by the organizers: Verified puller, Referee, Event champion, Event organizer and Coach.

Find people to pull with

Connections. In Edit profile, connect your Discord account (the Arm Link bot will use it later) and link your AERS profile. A moderator confirms the AERS profile is really yours, then your ratings, record and badges show on your page.

Fantasy league. Open the Fantasy page and build a lineup for each East vs West event: six fighters and a substitute under a $100M salary cap, with one captain who scores double. Cheaper underdogs score big bonuses if they win. Lineups lock before the event, and your best five events count toward the season. Full scoring is on the Fantasy page under How it works.

Pulling partners. Turn on “Looking to pull” in Edit profile and add your state, arm and weight class. Others can find you by filtering.

Tables. Know a practice table or open pull night? Add it so others can find it.

LB / KG. The switch in the top bar changes every weight on the forum between pounds and kilograms.

Keeping it clean

Report anything that breaks the community rules with the Report button under a post. Moderators review every report.

Moderators can pin or lock a thread, move it to a better board, or remove it. They can suspend accounts that break the rules. Suspended members can still read the forum.
