How to connect your AERS profile (no profile needed)

Lots of people think they have to build an AERS profile before they can connect. You don't. If you've competed at an AERS event, your profile already exists, and Arm Link finds it by searching your name.

HOW TO CONNECT
1. Log in to Arm Link and open your profile menu. Choose Edit profile.
2. Scroll down to Connections and find the AERS box.
3. Click "Find yourself on AERS" and start typing your name.
4. A list of matching pullers appears. Click your name. If you see more than one, check the state and record to pick the right one.
5. Click Request link.
6. A moderator checks that the profile really is yours, usually within a day. You get a notification when it's confirmed.
7. Once confirmed, your ratings, record, tournament history and badges show on your Arm Link profile.

TIPS
– Type just part of your name. If your first name finds nothing, try your last name.
– Use the same name you compete under. Nicknames won't match.
– To help the moderator confirm it's you, fill in your Arm Link profile: your real name, state, photo and weight class.
– Picked the wrong profile? Click Unlink AERS in the same box and try again.

CAN'T FIND YOUR NAME?
That usually means you haven't competed at an event that reports to AERS, or your name is spelled differently there. Reply to this thread with your name and state and we'll help.
